SOCIAL CONNECTION
An integrated class that will provide the children with the necessary tools to engage in social situations. This social connection class will run for 8 week sessions. Each week will consist of a one hour class.
Each class will focus on a specific social skill lesson that will be taught through the use of social story lessons followed by role play activities to practice acting out each task.
Each child will have the opportunity to role play the social lesson taught with typically developing children. Throughout the session, seven different social lessons will be taught and week eight will be a maintenance of all previous lessons.
